Our Story

Out of the pandemic and a collapsed events industry Miami Market Place was born: a wholesale Grab and Go company with fresh and healthy items sold in environmentally sustainable packaging utilizing our own in-house design and printing. The wholesale operation enabled us to endure the brunt of the pandemic. As Miami became vaccinated and the community began to gather again, the demand for our luxury catering services began to boom, birthing MMP Provisions and Events. Fully vaccinated events We’re thrilled to know that our clients are so happy with the product and process so far, that in September we were nominated and named winners of the 2021 Miami New Times Best Catering Company Award.

Miami Market Place is still fully operational and happy to fulfill your more casual catering needs for office and corporate lunches as well as holiday deliveries, although some holidays may be by request only. Click here to check out Miami Market Place’s website.

Taylor Croft

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Taylor never anticipated living in the South. Shortly after receiving her B.A. in Political Science from Stetson University in Deland, Florida- she received an opportunity to become a part of the Miami Events Industry. It was a big gamble personally and pivot professionally, but she has been lucky enough to call Miami home ever since. As the Senior Event Coordinator for Chef David Schwadron Cuisine and Event Design for almost seven years- she was fortunate enough to extend her role well beyond Event Planning and Catering Coordination. The result was the development of an extraordinarily thorough event planner with someone who has a unique understanding of the intricacies of event execution. These roles included (but were not limited to) Graphic Design, Website Creation, Software Onboarding, Logistics and Operations, Bookkeeping, Office Management, Human Resources, and Administration. She brings a magnanimous energy to her work that all of her clients can attest to. Most importantly, she’s very funny.
